Recently Tata Group’s jewellery brand Tanishq celebrated three decades of its presence in Delhi with an event at Pullman Aerocity in New Delhi. What was special about this event was that the customers of Tanishq walked the ramp wearing its jewellery pieces. It was a night of where Tanishq’s customers shone brightly, showcasing exquisite jewellery that symbolized their unique stories and special moments.
According to Arun Narayan, VP – Category, Marketing & Retail, Tanishq, Titan Company Limited, “As we celebrate the remarkable milestone of being embraced by 811,404 Delhi families, we are filled with gratitude and humility. It is an honour to be part of your cherished moments, to have adorned your brides, and to have celebrated your milestones. This evening is dedicated to celebrating patrons, who will lead the fashion show adorned in the finest Tanishq jewellery pieces. Thank you, Delhi, for making us a part of your family.”
The event showcased three collections- Rivaah, Exotic India and Natural Diamonds. Wedding-exclusive collection titled Rivaah featured pieces handcrafted with intricate details of Chikankari, Picchwai, Zardozi, Polkis. The ‘Exotic India’ collection highlighted Jadau designs crafted in Bikaner, Victorian Polki necklaces adorned with uncut Polkis that blended European elegance with Indian artistry, and regal Rajwada Kundan necklaces narrating tales of royal grandeur. The collection also celebrated the vibrant colours through Meenakari art and inlay work featuring Chalcedony centerpiece.
The ‘Best of Natural Diamonds’ collection had three distinct categories – Ethereal Wonders dazzled with rare stones like aquamarine, tanzanite, pastel tourmalines, and rare citrines and featured statement pieces with emeralds and sapphires. The Enchanted trails collection drew inspiration from beauty of nature such as flowing rivers, interplay of light and water, the allure of blooming flowers, the graceful movement of branches, and the whispers of lush forest foliage. The collection showcased the dance of boats gliding through serene streams, echoing the poetry of nature’s tranquillity. The Hearts and Arrows line offered perfectly cut diamond solitaires in earrings, rings, and solitaire strings.
With gold prices continuing its rise, Tanishq has been working on innovations to create designs with lower weights. Says Tanishq’s Narayan, “This year for Akshaya Tritiya which is a very traditional occasion, we launched a collection of lightweight wearable jewellery called GlamDays. We are constantly working to further bring down the weight of the jewellery using hard gold alloys which are light in weight and the pocket. The foundation of our brand is wearable jewellery for everyday essentials.”
